An ongoing work of more than 2000 paintings, each consisting of a monochrome background onto which is inscribed the date of the day on which the individual painting is executed, in the language and according to the calendrical conventions of the country in which Kawara is present when he begins it. Operation: touch screen to toggle display between date (default), time and user-configured string. Note: touching bottom edge of screen changes background colour. Configuration: choose default string to display.
