Need some candle light, and forgot where you left the matches and/or your candles? Never fear! You DO remember where you left your chumby, don't you?! Well, fire it up (pun intended), and use Candle Lite and the power of Flash Lite on that bad boy/girl! Use Candle Lite to give you that perfect romantic, yet uniquely geeky, candle light atmosphere! ... or use it to give you that "renaissance ambience" you've been looking for while penning your latest science fiction novel ... and much much more! INSTRUCTIONS: To leave the widget running in "sticky" mode, simply head to the control panel (top button on the chumby) and hit "STAY" button. Brought to you by: Hooken Mobile and Scott Janousek.

One more suggestion (because I forgot it was there!) -- use the built in mic to detect when you blow on the screen. I understand this might be a bit difficult because the mic isn't properly supported yet from what I've read, but there are a few "hacks" on the developer forums to enable you to listen to it. If you do get it to work, you'd be looking for a distorted, overdriven signal for say 1 second to extinguish the flame, anything less would cause the flame to be disturbed and dance around.

Just for completeness (not sure how useful this would be but I think it would be cool), how about reading the tilt sensor so the flame stays vertical regardless of the Chumby's orientation. The flame would probably go out if it was upside down though. And how about snuffing out the flame if you press the touch screen over the flame, or shake it from side to side? You could relight it by touching the wick again.

I'm a candle junkie, so I totally appreciate this widget. My only suggestion? More lighting effects on the actual candlebase. It would a lot to the flicker effect. :)
