OK, I deleted the widget and re-added it. I customized it and changed just two things: 1) I set the time to "Forever" 2) I pasted in the following url to the Background image URL field: http://www.edrotberg.org/images/Tulume320x240.jpg I already have a crossdomain.xml file on my site (though it's not indicated that this is needed) that I use with a photo widget that works perfectly fine. The image in question (as you can see by using the link) is 320x240 resolution. However the image STILL does NOT show up on my Chumby. Further, if I click "customize" again on the site, managing my widgets, that Background image URL field is blank. My site is an Apache 2 web server running on an Ubuntu Linux server. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can give you. = Ed =

I'm sure I fixed the configuration issue last week (new version is 1.10). If you're not sure you're running 1.10, remove the widget and add it again. Please let me know if it still seems broken, and give as much detail as possible (it's worked fine for me since I uploaded the new version..).

I'm also having a problem with this widget. I point the background image to a URL on my server and it doesn't show up. SInce it is not in the configuration dialog the next time I visit chumby.com to re-configure it, I'm thinking that this too could be a problem writing the config data back to the Chumby server.

Re: Configuring. I'll take a look in the next day or so. It seems to be a problem with writing the configuration back to the Chumby server. Maybe the required format became stricter recently.

Re: alarms Alarms and alarm-related events are managed solely by the Control Panel - widgets have basically no access to this kind of thing. Please post a comment to the forum for the Chumby guys.

I have set alarms several times, trying to drop the brightness at night and restoring in the morning, but it never remembers the changes. What am I doing wrong?

I love the configuration options on this clock. The best clock I've found for nighttime use yet. One request: Better clock font options. The current font is not my favorite nor is it kerned. Being a designer, those two things really bug me. Since I'm using this to replace the built in night mode, having the quick alarm display would be nice. Everything else is perfect.

Just starting to use this widget for the following reasons listed here: http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?pid=9216#p9216 If there were a way to add a background image (maybe .png/.gif for transparency/layering) it would finish this one out for me (if this is even possible). :) Thanks Clive!
