willtur, Sony negotiated special deals (licensing) with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Slacker, etc. that allows the Dash to stream content from those sources. But Sony has clout, since some of its Bravia-series TVs have similar capabilities... they probably didn't even negotiate a special deal with those companies specifically for the Dash, if their contracts covered their entire product catalog. The reason why Chumby's don't have access has less to do with the quality/specs of the product, or even a technical issues, and more to do with lawyers and license terms.

you can't seriously not stream netflix movies on this unit? I have the Sony My Dash to compare the two since the My Dash doesn't allow you to stream movies, shows and pics from my computer I thought I check this unit out. My dash has a beautiful interface and HD quality video when watching netflix videos. I was hoping this one would do the same, but it seems like a cheap version.

Would it be possible to stream Netflix to the Chumby? It would be nice to at least play the trailer or something. I know smooth fmv playback is a reality after using the YouTube app.

make it so you can add stuff to your queue.

It would be nice if I could put in multiple ID's to support multiple profiles within accounts. Also you don't need to have three config fields for one account. We should be able to just enter that long ID # in one field (or more if you support multiple queues), and you can generate the 3 URLs (queue, at home, history) based on it

Hmmm looks real nice, but when I view my queue it says "loading" and that after about 10 seconds my chumby seems to reset and it never displays anything from my queue.
