spoonman, how many lines of text did you add? Did it scroll anything? If you only saw black, I suspect that you may need to re-enter the color numbers, be sure you're using zero's and not 'oh's'. let me know!

Looks cool, but it doesn't work for me on my actual Chumby. Maybe I added too many lines of text... Hmm.

Nice... I think it could have a feature where a random LED was 'out' occasionally, just like you get in signs in the real world. Also, you could test for the presence of one of the unique Chumby variables (see http://wiki.chumby.com/mediawiki/index.php/Chumby_Property_Dictionary) and if they are 'undefined' you would know it was running on a virtual Chumby and change the animation parameters.
