Scrolling Message Clock has been Completely redesigned! Improved scrolling, easier to read, current date now scrolls after custom message, longer messages no longer truncated. Choose any hexadecimal color for banner and clock... or let the widget choose for you, just type 'random' in the clock or banner color box. *Note: Scroll speed has been optimized for playback on chumby, your message will appear to be moving very fast on virtual chumby.

spoonman, how many lines of text did you add? Did it scroll anything? If you only saw black, I suspect that you may need to re-enter the color numbers, be sure you're using zero's and not 'oh's'. let me know!

Looks cool, but it doesn't work for me on my actual Chumby. Maybe I added too many lines of text... Hmm.

Nice... I think it could have a feature where a random LED was 'out' occasionally, just like you get in signs in the real world. Also, you could test for the presence of one of the unique Chumby variables (see http://wiki.chumby.com/mediawiki/index.php/Chumby_Property_Dictionary) and if they are 'undefined' you would know it was running on a virtual Chumby and change the animation parameters.
