wow, we were working on a tides widget ourselves without looking here in the Travel category! Looks good - my only problem is that in the config screen the words "Change picture every ???" is truncated so I can't see what the tickbox actually does...

A couple of typos in the instructions above. The secret number needed in the customize screen is sometimes *four* digits (nnnn) not always 3. And the link mentioned above says ..gegraphic... instead of ...geographic... Try (from your browser) http://www.mobilegeographics.com:81/ enter your location, click on the link to display tides for your location, then look at the link on your browser's nav bar that took you there, something like http://www.mobilegeographics.com:81/locations/1234.html but the 1234 will be a different 3 or 4 digits. It's those 3 or 4 digits that you need for the Chumby widget. The nearest to Westport, CT is Bridgeport, number 731. Hint: in the initial search, *spell out* your state name. The search knows Connecticut, not CT.

David, Go to the link provided (http://www.mobilegeographics.com:81/), find your location, and select it to display the tide chart. Now look at your web address bar: http://www.mobilegegraphics.com:81/locations/nnn.html The "nnn" is the secret number that needs to be entered in the Chumby customize screen. It is a random index number for each site. ###################### gingerbeardman, Any chance that the first text line can be shifted left so that the location name can be displayed on the Chumby screen? Other than that, very nice app, greatly appreciated! Thanks, JW

It's about time somebody made a tide chart. Nice Job. The only thinkg I cannot figure out is how to customize it to my local area (Westprot, CT 06880) David
