This is a rotating cam of different views of Times Square in New York City. This cam is different than the static cam widget that dmaxwell made - it moves around to show different parts of the square. Brought to you by Earthcam.

This camera goes offline often, showing a static image from three years ago.

I've noticed this recently, too. Looks like Earthcam may have changed how the cam works? I'll investigate and see if I can get it rotating again. But I also have a feeling this may just be temporary, focusing on the outdoor recreation area they created in Times Square this summer as a special sort of thing. The tables and recliners are a big deal this summer. So maybe Earthcam decided to park the rotating cam focusing on that stuff... I'll see what can be done!
