Great widget. Would be even better if the font was easier to read and the scroll buttons scrolled a page at a time instead of a line.

Your description is, I believe, a slight misnomer. The word "slang" implies a group of users who use terms not comprehensible to others; these users might be of a certain generation, profession or even ethnic group. How about saying "words coined for the people, by the people" or even the "neologism for the people, by the people". Both "words -- coined" and its more technical synonym "neologism" -- imply potential linguistic inclusivity, whereas "slang" implies a certain linguistic exclusivity. And I think that linguistic inclusivity is more in keeping with the philosophy of open code. I really like this widget and have it on one of my channels. I also think English teachers might enjoy having this widget available on a classroom Chumby.
