This application functions very well, but I think its layout needs improvement. I don't see why the current weather text and graphic needs to be so massive, since we already know what's going on outside at the moment. Shrinking this stuff would provide room for more weather forecast days to be shown. Speaking of which, I don't think we need anything more than the graphic and temperature extremes for the forecasts. Removing the textual description would help to unclutter the interface and permit more days to be shown. I also think that the font size of the forecast information should be larger. The other thing I want to see is coloured text. You should list the maximum temperatures in red and the minimums in blue. In order for this to work, you might need to change the background from yellow to white. What is your opinion about all of this? Are you happy to implement it or should I?

The Yahoo link no longer works. However, if you hop over to http://weather.aol.co.uk/europe, you can still find the location code you need. Just click your way through country, city, etc. and grab the last part of the URL for the required region.

Thanks for this applet. Sadly, like most weather sites, Yahoo Weather is a USA-centric site. While I have been able to configure my applet to display a local city, I cannot set it to display metric correctly. Setting "c" or "Celsius" in the options has it display in Imperial anyway! It's annoying to find that Yahoo displays things like wind speed in "Miles per hour" even if you have asked for a Celsius display. In metric, wind is measured in "Km per hour".

It doesn't seem to be refreshing. It stays stuck on a forecast. To refresh, I have been reloading the channel.

Hi Grummond, How to find location code in Europe 1. Visit: http://weather.yahoo.com/regional/EUROPEX.html 2. Select country 3. Select city. 4. In case of Copenhagen, Denmark. URL is http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/DAXX0009.html 5. DAXX0009 is location ID for Copenhagen.

Does anyone know how to select cities in Europe, I can do it on the yahoo website by just entering location as Copenhagen, Denmark but on the widget it just gives an error message, looks great though..
