Custom alarm example
Let's say you set the following custom alarm options:
- : Daily
- :7:00 a.m.
- : You choose a SHOUTcast station called "Radio Paradise" as your audio source and set the alarm length to 45 minutes.
- : This option is ignored when "Don't show alarm screen" is selected.
- : You choose a channel you created called "favorite news."
With this setting, every day at 7:00 a.m. the SHOUTcast station called "Radio Paradise" will come on, as will your channel called "favorite news." After 45 minutes, the SHOUTcast station will stop playing, but the channel "favorite news" will continue to play until you change it.
What happens if you use the above settings but do not check off "Don't show alarm screen"? Every day at 7:00 a.m. the SHOUTcast station called "Radio Paradise" will come on and the Turn Off Alarm/Snooze screen will appear...
- If you tap , the SHOUTcast station will turn off and your channel called "favorite news" will start playing.
- If you tap , the chumby will go back to whatever it was doing before the alarm went off. When the snooze duration is over, the SHOUTcast station will start playing and the Turn Off Alarm/Snooze screen will appear again.
- If you don't turn off the alarm, the SHOUTcast station will play for 45 minutes and the chumby will stay on the Turn Off Alarm/Snooze screen. After the 45 minutes are up, your "favorite news" channel will then start playing.
