Can't find exactly what you want to listen to on Pandora, SHOUTcast Radio, Mediafly or one of our other internet sources? You can use My Streams to enter a custom URL for any MP3, M3U, OGG or PLS stream.

Setting up your own stream

How do you set up your own stream? It's easy — all you need is the URL for the stream you want to listen to. Here's an example using a station that plays soundtracks:

1. Start by tapping NEW.

2. Tap in the Name box, where is says Stream name.

3. The virtual keyboard appears. Tap the Back button to delete Stream name.

4. Enter the custom name of Soundtracks and then tap the Enter button to return to the previous screen.

5. Tap in the URL box where it says http://.

6. The virtual keyboard appears. Enter the url http://loudcity.com/stations/streamingsoundtracks-com/ files/show/aacplus-hi.pls (no spaces or breaks in the url) and then tap the Enter button.

7. Tap the button next to PLS to select it — only URLs ending in MP3, M3U, OGG or PLS will work. If you enter a URL ending in anything else, you won't hear anything. Tap Done.

8. Your customized stream is now set up. Highlight it, tap the Play button, and enjoy!
