chumby status
At the top of the screen is some useful status information:

The wi-fi signal strength to your chumby is shown to the right of the channel name (it will not appear if your chumby is connected to a USB ethernet adapter).

chumby one owners: The battery strength indicator will only appear if you've intalled a battery in your chumby one. The battery is charging if the charging symbol appears:  . Learn more about battery use.

|
This number in the upper right corner is the version of the control panel your chumby is using.
