Manually Entering an Access Point
Not all wireless networks transmit their name (for security reasons) so you may need to manually enter the name of your access point (also called SSID, "Service Set IDentifier," or ESSID, "Extended Service Set IDentifier").
Step 1. Press OTHER to go to the next screen.
To manually enter an access point, tap on the "Choose a wireless connection" screen.

Step 2. Enter the name of the access point.
Enter the name of the access point and tap to continue. Capitalization matters so if your access point name is "hOWdy," you can't type "howdy."

Don't know the name of your access point? Unfortunately, just as we can't guess the name of your pet or the street you grew up on, there's no way for us to guess the name of your access point for you. This is something you need to know if your wireless network is not set up to broadcast its name (or you need to ask the person who helped you set up your access point).
Step 3. Choose the access point.
If the access point you entered is found, you'll see it listed. Highlight it and then tap to continue. If the access point you entered can't be found you'll see the "Access point scan failed" screen (go to the next step).

Step 4. Which screen do you see now?
Click on the screen that matches the one you see on your chumby and you'll continue on to the next series of set-up screens.
