Manually Entering an Access Point

If your chumby can't automatically get authorization information from the access point you entered, you can manually enter the authorization information.

Step 1. Tap Manual to continue.

Step 2. Choose the authentication method.

Wireless routers more than a few years old may be using the older WEP standard; newer routers are likely to use WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK (PSK stands for "pre-shared key"). The chumby does not support WPA or WPA2 Enterprise. Refer to the manual for your access point to determine what authentication method is being used.

Step 3. Which screen do you see?

Click on the screen that matches the one you see on your chumby and you'll continue on to the next series of set-up screens.
