What's an app group?
An app group is a collection of apps with a common theme. These groups are managed by "App Gurus" who add new apps that they think you would enjoy.
Does it cost anything to subscribe to an app group?
No, this service is FREE.
What happens when I subscribe to an app group?
All the apps in the app group are sent to the channel(s) you selected. Once you subscribe to a group, you don't have to do anything else — whenever an app is added, it's automatically delivered to your chumby. Just sit back and enjoy!
Why would I subscribe to an app group?
Apps are constantly being added — if you don't have time to keep track of what's new, let us help you keep your channels fresh with the newest, most interesting apps. We can also introduce you to classics that you might've overlooked.
How do I subscribe to an app group?
Go to subscribe to app groups, where you'll see the list of app groups you can subscribe to. Click on the "subscribe" link for any of the groups that interest you.
Can I remove apps I received in an app group?
Yes, the apps that you get in an app group can be treated just like any other app. You're free to customize, remove or send any of these apps.
Can I add other apps to the channel once I subscribe to an app group?
Yes, you can still do whatever you want in a channel after you've added an app group to it.
How many app groups can I subscribe to?
As many as you want. The only restriction that exists is a limit of 100 apps per channel (doesn't matter if these apps were added by you or if they were sent from a subscription to an app group).
Can I unsubscribe from an app group?
Yes, just click on the "unsubscribe" link for that app group.
How often are app groups updated?
About once a week, but this is really up to the App Gurus for each channel.
